The important thing when trying to draw something realistically is to do lots of research. Valiantly I looked up many images of hot derby girls. The ref's hand / arm being all twisty is my favourite detail, but my favourite moment painting this was shading. When I got to her bum I had to switch up to a larger paintbrush.
That's when you know you're doing it right.
